Educational Qualification
Candidates
must be minimum intermediate qualified or its equivalent from recognized board
of India for the Army wings.
For the naval and air force wings
candidates must have math and physics as compulsory subjects in intermediate.
No certain
number of marks required.
Candidates
who are appearing in 12th exam can apply for the NDA exam but
appearing in 11th are not eligible to apply.
Age criteria
Only
unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and
not later than 1st July, 1998 are eligible.
Female candidates are not allowed in NDA exam.
Age
relaxation is applicable for Other backward classes, Schedule caste and
Schedule tribes.
Citizenship
Candidates
should be Indian
A subject of
Bhutan, or
A Tibetan
refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of
Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African
Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi,
Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in
India.
